Alex is an International Arts and Creative Education Manager and Consultant with over eighteen years’ experience of Education, Creative Projects Management and Artist Mentoring, he is currently the Creative Director of Artist Residency Thailand, a programme founded in partnership with Prem Tinsulanonda International School and Mom Luang Tridhosyuth Devakul.
During his time in the U.K as a Creative Projects and Education manager, he sat on numerous boards, trusts and steering groups that focused on arts and education engagement for young people. Notably, he conceived and was the project lead for the U.K National Campaign, 'Youth Arts Transforms Lives –FACT, an advocacy and policy campaign led by Artswork, the national youth arts development agency, chaired by Sir Ken Robinson.
Education and engagement projects that he developed and managed were twice nominated for the prestigious British, National Charity Award and his arts engagement work with young people was singled out when Royal & Derngate Theatre and Arts Centre were awarded U.K regional theatre of the year and the Guardian's Theatre of the Decade.
